I recently pulled the trigger on the Model 6770 Large Bench Mill, cabinet and accessories. The new mill is honestly a dream come true for me. It’s delightful to have something actually deliver what’s promised in the sales pitch. But this does, in spades. It set up easily, trammed nicely and is quiet, smooth, accurate and simply a pleasure to use. I’m now more enthused about some projects I have pending and have already started on one yesterday. From my first call to order everyone has been polite, thoughtful and pleasant and I felt they were honestly interested in making sure I got what I needed. So, your staff is commended for their courtesy and attention, and the company as a whole is commended for demanding the builders deliver the quality you specified.
This certainly did help. It answered questions I didn’t know to ask. Your prompt and thorough response has made me a customer of mine. In my dotage, I’ve come to value quality and service far more than price. Although I found similar items (I cannot tell if they are the same) for less (and more), I’ve ordered the tool post from you. I just had a chance to install my 0XA QC tool post on my 9 x 20 lathe.(Harbor Freight). I was hesitant to buy this, thinking it would be an odd fit. When I first got it I saw a T-Plate and stud that would not go on my tool post. I went to their site, and Chris' tips sure enough had it handled. The system used my old mounting post, and the special barrel nut went right on. In just a few minutes I had some tools mounted and was enjoying the QC aspect. I have to rate this 5 stars...fit and function are both great. Well done, LMC.
I called at 9:00am Monday. I forgot a piece on an order I placed early that morning. I called. No problem and added to the order. Today, Wednesday, my box was dropped off by USP. How can you provide top quality service like that when you can hardly get someone to wait on you at most places? Seriously, I’m in shock and really appreciate that kind of customer service.
